Key features.

Our team has worked on a large number of the housing stock transfers completed in the UK over the last 20 years. Often referred to as Large Scale Voluntary Transfers (LSVT), these deals involve the transfer in ownership of housing stock from a Local Authority to a private sector landlord. Having supported some of the largest transfers in the UK, we have developed an acute awareness of the specific requirements within these deals.

We can cover a wide range of environmental risks to support a housing stock transfer, including contaminated land, flood risk, ground stability, energy and infrastructure risks and even more bespoke considerations such as lead piping.

With unique access to the UK’s largest environmental data library in group, and our expertise in risk assessing high volumes of properties very quickly, we are extremely well placed to identify and review environmental risk for large property portfolios. We are able to blend our off the shelf convyenacing reports, with specialist techniques and bespoke methods of data presentation which are appropriate for housing stock transfers. Some of our projects have included the presentation of information via bespoke Geographical Information Systems (GIS) software.
